For some reason all my brushes in Photoshop have a noise/ scatter effect. Like MSpaint airbrush.

I tried resetting all the brush dynamics. Does not work.
I deleted past installed custom pencil brushes. Does not work.
I set the brushes all to default. Does not work.

Anyone help would be appreciated :)

this is what it looks like. It's like this on all my brushes :c

Joining the bandwagon.

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?- :bulletred:5 years. Pushing 6 in September. I joined because a lot of Spyro fans I knew on Youtube had a deviantart, plus I was also a Warrior cats fan.

  2. What does your username mean?- :bulletred:My username for Youtube was going to be dragonmaster1995 or something like that, but the name was too long. This was back in good'ol 2009 I think. I then thought of my early character Pyra the dragon. The name was too meh, so I shortened it to pyradragon all lower case. The name for me was short and snappy. I still carry this screen name on other websites.

  3. Describe yourself in three words.:bulletred: blunt, quiet and humorous.

  4. Are you left or right handed? :bulletred: lefty.

  5. What was your first deviation? :bulletred: I deleted it but it was a MSpaint drawing of Pyra.

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? :bulletred: I don't really know any more because I draw a mix of things but can't seem to focus on one subject like I used too. I primarily like to doodle anime eyes and hair.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? :bulletred:Art Nouveau. Alphones Mucha you awesome mother fucker.

  8. What was your first favourite?:bulletred: too lazy to dig for it.

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?:bulletred: anime stuff.

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?:bulletred: I have too many. :iconarukanoda::iconyuumei::iconturtle-arts::iconglowingspirit: and more.

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? :bulletred: I don't know. I'm pretty quiet and awkward.

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? :bulletred: None single artist really. Being on DA has shown me that you should grow as an artist by drawing different things. With so many artists being inspired by each other you tend to see a mix of styles that are very much similar and to me I just end up seeing it as the "DA style". Things like emo wolves and dragons.

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? :bulletred: I haven't drawn in a while to put my finger on it these days.

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? :bulletred: I get inspired by a lot of things. I work art on my desk.

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? :bulletred: I guess it was when everyones icon was changed to Lady GAGA and wee thought we were hacked lol.

Art change

2 min read
Has anyone else had their interests change when it comes to art?

Like, I have been drawing dragons my whole life but I don't draw them all that much these days. I don't really want to be known as just a dragon artist. This is one of the reasons I keep uploading and deleting art. I get unsatisfied with my art frequently and decide to not upload it. I'm a perfectionist. It sucks.

I want to be able to draw and upload whatever I want and be happy, but I lose confidence. I also like things to be in their place. I made a tumblr account specifically for anime/ manga art, Facebook group for I-don't-know-yet -shrugs-. I found that a lot of my fav artists have moved away from DA to other sites or lost interest in art.
I don't plan to leave or move accounts or anything like that, because I like my username. It's a staple. :)

I just want to upload quality art that all "match" if you know what I mean. The style and quality never looked uniform to me. Some of it comes down to my digital art ability. My tablets drawing surface feels too smooth and puts me off when drawing lines.

mmmege dkm

I'll probs make an update at some point. Excuse my bad grammar.

Photoshop CC or CS5-6 don't have a dockable hue wheel, WTF, why. I took the wheel for granted. Colour sliders suck and double clicking the colour thing is annoying. Unless you have a legit version of PS you can just update that thing to get the hue hub or whatever it's called.

Here's a substitute for ya. It's pretty safe. Download below.
nerdchallenge.com/lenwhite/Len…
1. Extract file
2. Copy file into Adobe Photoshop by Open file location on PS
3. Go to plug ins
4. Paste
5. Open PS
6. Go to Window> Extension and "painterswheel" should be there :)
